Wow, lots of you came up with some great ideas for what to call a group of journalists.

Some of my favourites were...

But the ones that really made me smile were...

Is it Christmas?

Sometimes I get a little baffled.

Today is one of them. Is it Christmas and no one told me yet?

Because all these beautiful gifts are being given to me at the moment.

Not your usual gifts wrapped up in paper, but gifts of time, help and energy.

The first gift that arrived at my home were the stunning new soaps made in qld with a soap guru who is obsessed with making beautiful products.

Hand made especially for us (you can't get these anywhere else) these take your breath away.

My favourite is the cinnamon (reminds me of apple pie) but there are lots of others. Will have some pics soon up on the website. More info

Then, the other day Jacque from Stratacore, who is a business genius, gave me her time, freely, to help me sort out a big headache.

And then, Michele from Office Lifestyle has given up her beautiful office for Ripple to use for our new booking service..gorgeous right in the heart of Southport with water views! I'm jealous now :-) want an office like that for myself.

So if it is Christmas, can someone let me know please? I'll put up the tree and start planning the New Years bash.

A handful of Rudds

A friend asked me today "So what are you going to do with your Rudds?"I think she was referring to the $900 windfall quite a few Australians will be receiving in the next week or so.

We are being encouraged to splash out, so if you are thinking of spending a little of it at Ripple here's a couple of places it will go.

• Ripple is run and owned by an Aussie.


• We only hire Australian citizens or permanent residents


• All of our major suppliers are Australian owned and operated businesses.


• Yes it is the middle of The Great Recession (how ominous does that sound!) but right at this minute we are still hiring new therapists in the Gold Coast, Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula and Yarra Valley regions (call us if you know a therapist that needs a job.)


• A few people think we are insane, but we have started a big expansion this year into Victoria.
