1. Spend the money on the great wine and get the view for free. Sunset at the lookout on Mt Tamborine or watching the surf from Burleigh Headlands, both are sensational places for downing a bottle.

2. A small gift pack with bath salts, massage oil and chocolates. Run her a bath, feed her chocolates and a back massage usually goes down well.

3. Chick flick movie and popcorn...yes forgo the guns and bloodshed, take some tissues and watch a chick flick most blokes usually cringe from...
